I live in constant fear...

of being asked to share a
fun fact about myself.

I am Nicole Atkins.
I am a "Type A" free spirit on a mission to stay curious.

I was born and spent the first 29 years of my life in Australia before moving to the United States in 2016. While I love my homeland and it’s people, moving abroad has been the most rewarding and exciting personal and professional growth opportunity to date.

My career has spanned multiple industries including mining, sports, and tech . The positions I have held have been equally as varied but nonetheless successful and have centered around one common, ingrained theme - efficiency.

Time is a commodity that we are unable to acquire more of and is so freely wasted by operations that could be streamlined to maximize this precious resource in our personal and professional lives. This is top of mind for me daily in what most would consider the most mundane interactions - still my mind goes to analyzing “how could this be made better/faster/easier?” and, “who can benefit from making this better/faster/easier?”

My most successful roles to date have been in an executive and indirect procurement business partner capacity. As a Senior Executive Assistant, it was my role to find efficiencies in processes, operations, and schedules to ensure my leaders were positioned to be able to focus on the essence of their roles. As an Indirect Procurement Manager, it was my role to find efficiencies in processes, transactions, and categories to manage risk to the business and ensure timely and profitable delivery of goods/services to market. I was able to do this by observing the business, reviewing current ways of working, and creatively partnering with key stakeholders to directly maximize our tangible resources and indirectly our intangible resource - time.

When I’m not working I love traveling, learning, and spending time with my dog, Parker Digby.

My Work

He is Parker Digby.
A judgemental snooze machine on a mission to get treats.

Parker's current feedback on the performance of his human:

Work Performance and Output | Excellent

"Her commitment limits her ability to make me the center of attention but improves her ability to provide quality treats."

Treats Given | Poor

"She's stingy with the treats, excuses were made."

Walks Provided | Good

"This is fine, although our active lifestyle is hindering my snooze schedule."

Balls Thrown | Below Average

"If I am awake, balls should be getting thrown."

Adventures Had | Excellent

"I go everywhere and see everything. Most recently I saw actual rockets... enough said."

Love Given | Execellent

"So much. Who's a good human?"
